A very clever customer has made this beautiful Stephen West Honeycomb shawl using a skein of Forest Floor 4-ply paired with Graphite from another dyer.

This one turned out a lot better, it’s lightly wadded although doesn’t have the keyring tab.
I’m making use of the patchworked squares I was given!
This one is a little bigger at 14cm x 10cm.

If you were expecting an invoice for one of these and it hasn’t arrived, please let me know ASAP.
I had several enquiries that didn’t follow through to actual sales and I’m hoping those people are not all expecting a box!
Plus, PayPal did a lovely glitch on me again by not sending some invoices I did schedule and duplicating some that I definitely didn’t duplicate 😬

I was very sad to hear about the closure of another LYS this morning.
A Good Yarn in Wickham, where I have had a yarn display for the last few months, has permanently closed with immediate effect.
I had already run a successful sock knitting class and had another one scheduled to start in a few weeks.
If you were booked on that class, I have sent you an important email about what you need to do next.
I have every sympathy for Lorraine, she has worked hard in the face of adversity to try and make this a success.
I do need to make clear that I am not financially connected to A Good Yarn and had not yet received the money paid for the sock knitting workshop, so I am sadly not able to deal with the refunds. That will need to be made via the shop.

Today’s learning curve. It took a while and has some imperfections but it has been a success!

I have 2 skeins of self striping “Pumpkin Spiced Latte” available - 1 plain, 1 sparkly. The socks are a customer pic, which I love! The only way I’d improve this is by using 25g of either the orange or the brown to colour block the heels, toes & cuffs.
£18 each or £22 with the extra 25g

I have one more ordered set to dye and they are batch dyed in sets of 6!
So there are 5 more boxes up for grabs. Only 2 of those can have the Pratchett themed treat.
