It was a pleasure to welcome the P6 class from Fivemiletown Primary School to Cooneen yesterday.

The pupils enjoyed a tour of our facilities and learning more about what we do. We always enjoy opening our doors to the next generation and sharing a little insight into the world of manufacturing.

We were delighted to host the Teemore Women’s Group yesterday for a tour and presentation of Cooneen Group.

The visit sparked some wonderful conversations around the history of the business, with many attendees sharing memories of the original factory shop and the products sold here over the years.

As we celebrate 60 years, it was a great opportunity to connect generations and reflect on the company’s journey.

Yesterday as part of our 60th Year Celebrations, we had the pleasure of welcoming a local primary school on-site for some biodiversity-themed activities 🌼

From planting wildflower seeds to colouring and learning about nature and pollinators, it was great to see so much enthusiasm for the environment from a young age group.

A small but meaningful step as we continue to support biodiversity across our sites.

An inspiring day yesterday in Enniskillen supporting The FTD Brothers - Jordan Adams on their incredible challenge.

Some of our team had the privilege of joining them for 10k and showing our support with a donation along the way.

Tomorrow we’re lacing up alongside the The FTD Brothers - Jordan Adams in Enniskillen. 👟

A few of our team will be joining them on their 32 marathons in 32 days challenge across Ireland, raising awareness for Frontotemporal Dementia.

We wish them the best of luck as they continue this incredible journey.

This Earth Day, we’re reflecting on the steps we’ve taken and the work still ahead.

From achieving carbon neutral status across our UK sites, to investing in renewable energy and increasing our reliance on self-generated energy, our focus remains on continuous progress.

Looking ahead, we’re continuing to build on this progress through a range of developing ideas across the business. This includes community-based initiatives such as working with local groups on biodiversity projects, as well as exploring ways to mark our 60th anniversary through environmental action.

Honouring 60 Years Through Community Support

As we celebrate 60 years in business, we’re reflecting on the people and communities who have shaped our journey.

For April, we’re proud to support Concern Worldwide. An international humanitarian organisation working in over 24 countries to tackle extreme poverty, hunger, and inequality.

Through both emergency response and long-term development programmes, Concern empowers communities to break the cycle of poverty for good.

We’re also delighted to support our colleague Elaine Edwards, who will be running the London Marathon next weekend in aid of Concern. We wish Elaine the very best of luck in this incredible challenge.

If you’d like to show your support, you can join Elaine’s fundraising night tonight, Friday 17th April, at Blakes of the Hollow, Enniskillen from 8pm. A great evening of craic with a quiz, “Night at the Races”, prizes, and more.
