Before & After – Men’s Lowa Walking Boots

These walking boots have been given a new lease of life with a full resole using a Vibram Sniper sole unit.

The original soles were worn and the base had just started to degrade. Ready for many more years of reliable use.

Vibram Sniper sole unit provides outstanding grip, durability, and stability across a wide range of terrain, making it an excellent upgrade for serious walking and hiking.

To complete the restoration, the boots were steam cleaned, removing dirt and grime, before the leather was treated and nourished to restore colour and help keep it protected.

Before & After – Ladies Birkenstock Sandals

Well loved Birkenstocks have been given a new lease of life with a full resole using Vibram Woodstock sole.

The cork footbeds and uppers still had plenty of life left in them. By fitting Vibram Woodstock soles, they’ve gained outstanding durability, excellent grip, and are ready for many more years of comfortable wear.

Before & After – Men’s Columbia Walking Boots 🥾

These Columbia walking boots arrived in a very poor condition, with the original soles crumbling and falling apart beyond repair.

They’ve now been fully restored with Vibram Porto Cup Sole Unit and a soft polyurethane (PU) midsole, providing improved comfort, durability, and grip.

Before & After – Men’s Rick Owens Trainers 👟

Have been given a new lease of life with Vibram Safe Walking soles, restoring both their durability and grip.

The original soles had worn through, which is a common issue due to the soft compound used by the manufacturer. Vibram provides significantly improved durability while maintaining excellent flexibility, grip, and comfort.

Ready for many more miles.

Men’s Ben Sherman shoes have been given a new lease of life with a pair of genuine Loake tan sole units. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a before photo.

Finding the right sole for this repair wasn’t easy. It took a lot to source a sole that matched the style, shape, and profile of the original shoe but it was worth the effort.

I always aim to find the best possible solution rather than settling for a compromise. Sometimes the right repair takes a little longer.

Before & After – Men’s Meindl Walking Boots

These Meindl walking boots came in with the original sole badly degraded and crumbling. Unfortunately, once this happens, the only reliable solution is a complete sole replacement.

We fitted an upgraded Vibram Sniper sole unit with a soft polyurethane midsole, providing excellent comfort, grip, and durability. This upgraded sole unit won’t suffer from the same degradation issues, giving these boots a new lease of life and many more miles on the trails.

Before & After – Scarpa Walking Boot Restored.

These men’s Scarpa walking boots recently came in for a complete refurbishment. I began with a full steam clean to remove years of built-up polish, dirt, and surface residue, restoring the leather back to a clean natural finish.

A new protective toe rand was then fitted to maintain the original design and improve durability. Then a premium Vibram® Sniper sole unit was installed to restore durability and grip.

To finish the job, the leather was treated and conditioned to help protect the boots and bring the leather back to life.
