To everyone who saw me and Skipper this lunch time and thought he may be suffering with the heat. Thank you all for your concern, including the ambulance who stopped to make sure we were ok!
However we had only ventured a small distance, all in the shade. Skippers problem was one more personal (to him) combined with some stinking Terrier attitude, which meant he wouldn’t let me assist him in his problem. You see Skipper is originally from Spain and he sometimes suffers from grassyass, other dog owners may have experienced this? When a dog eats grass and then causes a wee grass dangler when it arrives out the other end. Any hoo, I won’t go into any more detail to save Skipper some dignity. He refused to walk and refused to let me help. So I carried him back to the shop where he eventually gave in and let me remedy the situation while he didn’t have an audience. Again no more details needed. 😬
Thank you everyone for your concern, Skipper is loved more than I can put into words and I would never endanger him by walking him far in the heat.
