A little bit 90s going out top and jeans but chill and 2020s vibes with a pleat front jean and loafers (rather than a straight leg and ballet flats).

The chill factor for me comes from the relaxed fit and stretchy/comfy fabric of the bodysuit.

I am enjoying having access back to my wardrobe after an unexpectedly extended trip for work so pulling out out favorites and some newish bits.

1940s x Fight attendant vibes

Two elements of my style are classic and coordinated, and some days the interactions of these different facets of my style land further in one direction than the other. This is very classic.

But I don’t start with words I start with questions
- what am I doing today?
- how do I want to feel today?
- what shoes do I need?
- what’s the weather?

Reuse, restyle, repeat! This dress is a and borrowed, but i don’t think you’d ever know. experimenting with accessories and styling lets me extend the life of my clothes or make a borrowed piece fit my personal style.

This wedding guest outfit needed to be colourful, floral, and creative without sacrificing classic style. I started with a statement dress and layered a coordinating jacket on top.

The fun bit was playing with brooches and silk flowers to add a personal touch. By sticking to a cohesive colour scheme, the look stays polished.

Jewellery and shoes were minimal - a classic sandal and simple cuff kept the focus on the dress. The neutral but coordinated sandal also goes well with the busy handkerchief hem and lets the focus be the flowers and colour.

Would you rewear to an event like a wedding?
