Hello! We are heading into the penultimate weekend before Christmas and it’s been a lovely busy week in Frome. The shop and gallery are full of special artwork and objects for the home from all of the great UK designers, makers and artists we work with. There’s still plenty of time to find something unique to give as well as supporting independent businesses.
We hope you’ve can visit soon but you can also find (almost) everything listed on our website and there are some useful gift guides to help make your searching easier.
Our annual group show, This Time Round, continues with some beautiful new additions to enjoy. Well worth a visit or browse online.
We will be sending out online orders up to 2rd December but advise ordering before Friday 19th to guarantee delivery before Christmas. For larger artworks, please get in touch to discuss.

Kobi & Teal is delighted to present its 9th group exhibition, This Time Round. True to form, this annual show brings together the work of familiar artists and designers alongside introducing some new faces. Discover a calming collection of contemporary art, craft, and design with a focus on landscape and sense of place. Featuring a refreshing range of ideas, techniques and approaches, This Time Round promises its viewers a serene visual escape and the chance, perhaps, to take a little bit of it home.

We have some beautiful new work on display ready for a busy weekend. On the left you can see six fantastic woodblock prints by from his Greenhouse & Stone collection that launched earlier this year, available online now framed or unframed (but mounted).
On the right (in the gallery space) we have a stunning new oil on canvas by . ‘Swallowtail’ measures a little larger at W 140 x H 100 cm and will be listed online very soon.
We are looking forward to opening tomorrow for September’s 10-4. We have lots of new objects and artwork to see so if you’re heading the Frome, pop in. Have a lovely weekend.

Good morning Wednesday! We are open Wednesday - Saturday in January and February to have a bit of time in the studio and space to get organised for the year. One of the more appealing jobs on the list is finding and discussing new artworks and objects to show from existing and new creatives. Coming up with new approaches or ideas is a favourite part of my job. If you’re an artist, designer or maker, I am always open to see your work…just send an email with details and we can go from there.

Happy Christmas Eve! It’s about last few hours of opening (10.30-12.30) before a little break. We’ve had a great few months in the shop and gallery and I’d like to say a big thank you to all our customers, visitors and followers for your support and encouragement…it is much appreciated.
Thanks also to all the excellent artists, designers and makers we have worked with…enjoy a well deserved break.

It’s been a great first week of our new group show, Arranging Landscapes, thanks to everyone who has visited so far.
We are delighted to have a new piece from capturing another beautiful Canadian winter landscape. Kate joined us for our first annual group exhibition 7 years ago and we’ve been showing her work ever since. We love her contemporary use of watercolour and masterful compositions that give an immediate feeling of calm and space.
I love the collection this painting is sitting with in the gallery including new ceramics from .ceramics, the Kobi Cabinet by , Shifting Sky paintings by and new mixed media pieces by .

We are looking forward to welcoming you in to our annual group exhibition, ‘Arranging Landscapes’. This show brings together an exciting array of artworks that celebrate form and composition created from diverse perspectives and techniques. Featuring both new and returning artists and makers from across the UK, ‘Arranging Landscapes’ promises a refreshing display of contemporary art, craft, and design.
