This week I've added lots of vintage cotton reels to my Hilda's Home Etsy shop - mostly Sylkos and a few other lovely interesting ones. Link in profile ⬆️ Each listing of wooden reels will be sent in a drawstring bag which I've made from unused vintage cotton and wartime cotton tape. Swipe to see ▶️
All profits will be donated to Dwelling Places, a wonderful charity that rescues street children, abandoned babies, and high risk slum families in Uganda.

Here's another interesting Edwardian bottle now in my etsy shop. It previously held men's hair pomade what is now empty. C. 1910s - 1920s. Cork stopper covered with an early plastic. Original label is intact. 2 3/4 inches tall. In very good condition. Do come for a browse. Link in bio ⬆️.

I recently listed this pretty in my . Marshall and Snellgrove were a high-end London department store, now closed. The hatbox is in great condition. I've just listed this lovely vintage sewing etui in my Hilda's Home shop (link in bio) . Inside are wooden spools holding the thread, pins, and needles. And I love how the brass thimble forms the cap on the end. Such a lovely, compact, portable sewing kit. And no plastic :) .
