Baby blanket completed, isn't it just gorgeous. The baby blanket was for a baby boy actually I initially decided to go with white and blue, very basic, but then I thought why not add more colors and make it bright and cheerful.

Therefore after long thought I added mint green, yellow and mustard as i wanted it to keep more to the boy side and not make it girly, and so kept the original classic blue and white with it.
And Voila....

This blanket was made using pattern, The cozy strip blanket by .

~Day 5~ Packaging.

I try to make my packaging colorful, so I use different color of craft paper and different mailers aswell, sometimes I go very simple and use brown mailers especially if I need big mailer.
The home sewing box was given by a very sweet friend so I use it to store my thank you cards and tape and my blank floral cards which I use to write care instructuons, as I like to give care instruction with every order to make convenient for my customers.

With every coming year, I plan to change my packaging and plan on using my own designs for my thank you cards and mailers. Slowly slowly we will get there 😊

~Day 4~ Where I work/work place.

I work from my bedroom, yes this is right, like almost every person starting their business, I also right now work from my bedroom. I've taken over one of corner of bedroom, using my husband's table and have made it into my cosy corner.
I store my yarns in these storage boxes and my other crafts stuff like my beads, packaging etc are in one side of my wardrobe.

This year I plan to make my cosy corner a little more cosy by decorating it more maybe make a nice wall hanging etc. Definitely looking forward to it.

I hope to have a proper space and setup of mine one day. 😊

Finally introducing my first crochet beanie/hat named "Pink Love".
Its hand crocheted in colors of light and dark pink with black. Styled with handmade pom pom.
I wanted to make something using pink but not to pinkish as well so what could be better to use pink with black.

"Color is a power that directly influences the soul".

As said therefore colors is everything to me, I like and want to use different shades tones of colors in my life and my projects. My fingerless mittens are my perfect example, they can be wore with matching outfits or can make plain outfit colorful, especially in winter days when weather makes you feel gloomy and depressive, you need colors to keep glowing in and out.

Well there are unlimited tips i thought of but the only one I want to share is this.

""A dream does not become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work".

If you are determined and even sweat to put all your hardwork in your work, your passion, your dream, if will definitely come true sometimes it will take less time and sometimes it will take longer but it will come true and thats what always needs to be remember.

Day 2~ ~ What are you working on now.

I'm working on this new crochet hat which I plan to launch tomorrow on my birthday.
Its made from drops Karisma which is 100% wool yarn and machine washable. One of my favourite yarn to use as their colors are very pretty and the quality of yarn is so good as well.

Day 1~ ~ About me/maker.

I'm Zoma from AMOZ The Handmade Shop. As the name says it is about the handmade items made by me.

First a little about me, Im 32 year old, I did my Masters in Education for Expectional children and moved to Scotland, UK about an year ago, to start new chapter of my life with my husband. I recently got my teaching license and will soon start working as professional teacher.

I enjoy doing crochet work, sewing, paper quilling and many other crafts and have been doing it for almost 10 years now. This started as therapy after my mother passed away but then slowly it turned into passion and before I know it all my craft stuff took over my bedroom and even guest room.
After moving to UK it took me few months to settle and then in August 2021, I started AMOZ.

I plan on making my passion my full time job which I'm sure will take some time but I'm very hopeful.
I wish all the best to all the people who are working hard everyday to achieve their goal, their passion. You Got This!

Its my first time doing an insta challenge, so looking forward to it. Will try to catchup though but not gonna stress about it as its suppose to be fun and exciting not stressing 😅..
