A long-overdue update about RE-BROLLY: I need your help! ☂️♻️
I haven’t posted here in ages and I’d love to say that lots of crafty upcycly things have been happening behind the scenes, but this is simply not the case.
I’ve sadly had to keep the project on hold for a while, and I now know I will not be able to take up it again. Moving to a full-time job last year and having to manage the chronic pain and fatigue from fibromyalgia just means I have neither the time nor the energy to run a social entreprise on the side. And whatever energy I have left I want to spend on sewing for myself, wholly unashamedly.
This leaves me with a significant stock of broken brollies which now need to find a new home, especially as I’ll be moving house soon. Obviously I can’t imagine having to throw them in the bin, so if you can think of anyone, any organisation, community group, school, etc. who could be using broken brollies say for workshops, art projects, or any other purpose, please tag them here or let me know! I would also love for RE-BROLLY to continue in some form or other in the hands of someone with more time and ability. More than ever, we need positive things happening at a local level, right?
A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported the project 💚 and apologies if I didn’t respond to an email or enquiry in the past year or so - if still relevant do send me a reminder and I’ll do my best to follow up this time 🙏🏻
Oh and thanks again to for providing the classiest photo ever 😘👌🏻
