Step by step wallpaper hanging guide - Part 2

7. Press the top of first drop onto the pasted wall, keeping the rest of the paper off the wall, aligning edge with the vertical guide line. Once in position use a spatula to smooth paper and remove air bubbles.
8. Trim top and bottom with a blade and metal edge
9. To hang the second drop, paste the required area and hang the drop overlapping the edge of the first drop, matching the pattern exactly, secure as described in step 7
10. Cut through the centre of the overlap and the underlap using a very sharp blade with a precision metal edge as a guide
11. Pull away the underneath strip first then the second strip. Re-paste and press edges back into position to form the perfect join. Trim top and bottom as described in step 8
12. Sit back and admire your handy work

Step by step wallpaper hanging guide - Part 1

1. Prepare your walls
2. Draw a faint vertical line for your starting point
3. Measure the length of the first drop, adding excess at top and bottom to allow for trimming
4. Trim edge protectors along the dotted line
5. Cut and number your required drops
6. Paste the wall on the area to be covered by the first drops
