Another lovely afternoon with crowd, wet felting with resist under the tutolage of the incredibly patient 🩶🤍
Working with local Scottish wool gives me so much joy. I made a case for my reading glasses with Romney and Scottish Blackface wool, I love the look and I love the feel 🥰

At my weaving workshops, when we make those little woven samples, the question often arises what can one do with them. And the answer is obvious... you make pigs in blankets.
Couple of days ago I took a stab (pun intended) at needle felting and I made Lucas, my little pig model, so from now on I can add a little photo opportunity at the end of my weaving classes 🐷🩷

Kids Weaving workshops!

So far, these are the smallest hands that have woven on my loom. I often meet people who want to try weaving but think it is very complicated and worry they would 'break everything'. From now on I can confidently say that even toddlers can do it.
But if you are still unsure, you can always try something small first, like a keyring 😉

Thank you for including me in your event celebrating International Women's Day, it was great to share my love for weaving with all the lovely ladies!

I am blessed with a small but mighty group of very enthusiastic weave students. No amount of homework seems to put them off 😉.
After completing the From Warp to Cloth block, they asked for more, and today we have started another 4 week block. This time we will focus on weave structures and very genle introduction to weaving drafts.

The Weaving Group in the studio runs every Tuesday from 1-4 pm, check the link in bio for more details.
