When life gives you a broken old crate, you make a pigeon hole shelving unit. That's the saying, right? I rummage. A lot. Skips, dumpster, broken furniture that's been left on the street, warehouses, lofts, barns, sheds, workshops, cellars... But honestly, most of the time it's not a fruitful endeavour. A wee time lapse of a recent restoration of a beautiful ornate table.

Restoring the gorgeous walnut veneer required patience and a lot of care. Bringing life to the grain with the use of oil and wax brought it bouncing back to life.

Painting the legs in sage green gives a modern and gentler look and detailing the ornate carving in a lustrous gold adds a luxurious feel.
