Sometimes you need to close a door for another one to open and I really believe in this.
The opportunity came up for someone else to take over the lease and I knew almost immediately that it was the right thing to do. Not because the studio wasn’t working, but because sometimes you need to close one door to open another.
I’ve always dreamed of having a purpose built studio. A space designed exactly around how I work separate from home but close enough that I can be super flexible for my girls. Freedom to create and work with something that feels like my own and not just paying someone else’s mortgage every month. So when the opportunity came I jumped at the chance.
I will be working from home for a wee while, while I get everything organised for the next phase but nothing much will change. I will still have pop ups which I am in the middle of organising and which are in very exciting locations!
