Been working on this collection for a year. These are Al generated exact examples of my designs, saving time in making samples for now. The inspiration comes from my roots. my country Lithuania and lost but not forgotten Forest Brothers.

Pieces showcase armour induced strength with a softer or more feminine outlook, representing a woman who has been through tough life and built her own personality, empire or armour against all odds, but has a loving heart that takes time to unlock by the right people. A try representation of Naidon. And I couldn't

have been more proud of it. The black bear is part of Northern Lithuania, where my paternal family is from. And the bear brigade of fighters of our country, my maternal grandmothers family. And softer silhouettes and fabrics represent the middle of Lithuania, where I was born, gentleness of my ancestors, despite surviving insane russian invasion and humiliation back in the day.

The collection has a very strong personal meaning and these are the 1st few designs I decided to share.

Naidon has rebranded. Meet our new logo. A golden wheat - Lithuanian heritage woven in stories that are deeply connected to long trails of rituals and the spirit of nature. The stories of the past, so precious, that they echo with bitter sweetness in our hearts.
Woven through past lives to the present and all the way into the future through the Kindred Furrows.
Earth. Forest. Water. Amber. Animals and sounds. Scents of fresh chanterelle mushrooms stroked with summer meadows of linden tree blossoms and early spring violets of the Lithuanian forest.

My great grandparents on my mum's side. People in the 1st 3 images were Lithuanian luxury tailors. Pictures from around 1915- 1918. My grandfather left me these portraits before he died.
Not only were they tailors, my grandmother was a knitting and embroidery expert and my mum is knitting to this day. This explains a lot of my calling to fashion since I was 4 years old. The story of is routed in heritage, survival, loss and perseverance. Vivid memories of grandmothers work, hearing stories and styles of long gone ancestors have always been so interesting and captivating to me.
My calling is back (never really left) but I owe it to my family's legacy to continue. Naidon might have been established/started in 2010. But its roots reach over a hundred years back.

This piece was donated to the Paisley museum, and will be displayed once the museum opens after restoration.

What do you feel when you think of fashion. Is it self expression? To me it's the connection that cuts through time, space culture and experiences that altered our lives. To fashion is to connect, to understand and to share unspoken but uniting threads. From an idea, to handwork, to making someone feel like they are on top of the world, it echoes back and puts a designer on top of the world too.
