Merry Christmas to all my wonderful customers I've had the pleasure to help this last year! From the quickest and simplest patch, to the most complicated vintage lace wedding dress, I appreciate each and every job, and look forward to what 2026 has to offer.

This beautiful vintage dress (two piece) came to me needing the b***d bodice taking in, the straps tightening (elastic adding inside to give them some give when moving her arms), and a lot of the full skirt removing and making good because of some bad storage staining.

I think you can agree, the bride looks absolutely amazing on her big day!

Prom Prom Prom!! It's only a couple of months away! May is almost full for me, so please don't leave it until the last minute for an alterations appointment. I only have limited slots available and every year I get urgent last minute calls which I just can't fit in! So please, if you've bought early, and you need hems or tweaks, get booked in as soon as possible 🙏🧵🪡👗

I haven't had a chance to update much this year, it's been a mixture of busy, and taking some time out to recover from illness, but as I close up for the Christmas holidays, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all my wonderful customers. I've loved working with each and every one of you! From the most complicated wedding dress reconstruction to the simplest of trouser hems... you all have been fabulous!

Some photos from prom have started to come through, and some absolutely lovely comments. How gorgeous are these?

I've hemmed, altered the fit, added straps, and repositioned zips... to name but a few of the alterations completed this year...

Wonderful little job in between the dresses... I love free motion stitching, you do have to be slow and steady though, and keep your fingers out of the way of the needle 😳
