Beautiful Karen came to me with her dress to have it changed into her dream dress. I changed the chiffon skirt into a satin skirt and stitched the lace from the top half over the waistband. I then added a lace-up back with a modesty panel and custom made lace sleeves.
I also altered her 4 Bridesmaids dresses, shortening the hems, adding cups and shortening the straps.

Off to a friends 60th birthday celebration this weekend and I made myself this jumpsuit. I bought the fabric last year to make myself a dress for my son’s wedding but never got the chance to make it. I have 3 more days to finish this one off, but am very pleased with the fit and the look! ❤️

This has been a very enjoyable job meeting my client and her mum and being given the trust from them both to transform Mum’s 1980ish wedding dress to the daughter’s 2026 wedding dress! She wanted a Boho style dress and I think it has turned out amazingly! I am slightly in love with it! ❤️

My clients dress was too small around the bodice, to the degree that she never actually properly tried it on. We also had a size 8 lace skirt to go over the top and that did not fit at all. I managed to add a high lace-up so she could wear a bra underneath, added lace to the bust area, managed to shorten the lace skirt from the top to get the volume needed to go around her waist. I also added a beaded belt. The fit as you can see is 100% improved and she felt confident and comfortable wearing her dress on her big day!

This stunning dress was bought on a second hand site and advertised as one specific size and my client was not aware it had been altered to a smaller size. I added inserts in the side seams and managed to let the zip out by 1.5”. It now fits beautifully. #
