Hello! Remember me? It’s been a while but that’s only because you guys have been keeping me busy. For instance, these Redwing boots can now fly again. Also, I’ve some shots of a leather sole and heel repair from start to finish. Both of these jobs are great. They are repairs I can really get my teeth into. Of course there was a time that both of these repairs, especially the leather, were done on a daily basis. Not so much now but it’s good to see them slowly coming back as people turn to more sustainable ways of shopping. Of course, not all footwear are like this and shoe repair doesn’t just stick to these parameters. All footwear has the potential for repair and rejuvenation. The absolute most common form of footwear I repair is not necessarily the most expensive either. COMFORT is the main reason I see my customers shoes. So, if you’ve never had your shoes done, had a bad repair, been told they can’t be done, or think you can find the same pair or similar for cheaper. Please think again. Come and see me. I’ll try not to be too totes emosh.

Last few months of school until the summer holidays. Kids school shoes barely hanging on? Save yourself some time, money and energy by pushing the shoes over the line. New heels and soles for less than £25. You drop them off. I’ll repair them. You pick them up. No hassle. No need to drag your round the shops or trawl the internet for shoes you’ll probably have to return. GET YOURS AND THE KIDS SHOES FIXED.

Good morning my wonderful peoples. I am the owner of Footsteps the cobblers on Wallace parade, West Worthing. It has come to my attention that some people think I’m a little grumpy. So, to stop any misunderstandings in the future I thought I might give you some visual clues so you can gauge my mood should you be so brave to visit my establishment.

1) Welcome. (Note the glow of enthusiasm. Try not to be overwhelmed)
2) Yes I can repair your shoes.
3) Yes I can duplicate your keys.
4) Donuts?!
Note, Two and three are easily cheaper than your Supermarket cowboys and Donuts cannot be classed as a method of payment.

Footsteps is a small independent shoe repair shop, specialising in quality repairs and key duplication amongst other things Its owner has now, nearly 40 years of experience in the trade. Indeed, he has taken the risk of running his own business to show off these skills. The same can be said for my mate at County shoe repairs in Ann street. The same skill and even longer in the trade. If we can’t fix it, it cannot be fixed. We are craftsman and pride ourselves on providing only the best quality work.
Below though is what you can expect when you take your shoes to any pretender to this craft whose name could possibly start with a T. Half a job. Couldn’t do the rest so did half instead. The half a job that was done,
has been done, as you can see cannot be classed as done. The only thing done is the customer.
Take your shoes to a business that’s not going to rip you off. I hold any business in my field of work that begins with a T, fully responsible for almost killing off this craft I love. Convenient they are not.

Hopefully starting to see the end of all the grey. Not long now until we see the fresh blossoms and beautiful colours spring has to offer. If you can’t wait that long to have some sunshine in your life Sewn by the Sea have been bringing the sun for over 12 years now. Unlike Mother Nature, you never know what amazing combinations of colour and styles this superb crafts woman will produce next. And, right now there’s an amazing 20% of the list price of these unique wonders.
Oh and something else about Superior quality signs and awesome shoe repairs/ key duplication blah blah blah.

According to my favourite Supermarket, convenient, shoe butchers, there’s nothing could be done to cover over these scuffed heels. My new customer was told to buy a new pair. Not very green. There wasn’t much I could do about the loss of material but a quick dab of paint and a spray makes them just a little more presentable.
