After standing guard over Curiosity Classics, protecting Gt Harwood from boredom, and terrifying passing pigeons, Superman has found a new home and flies off this Saturday.

That leaves us with a very important question…

🤔 Who should take over our window display?

We’re looking for a new life-size resident, but we can’t decide.

Current ideas include:

We’ve managed to secure something that’s becoming harder to find than a polite Gremlin…

👀 2 x George Mogwai
👀 2 x Lenny Mogwai

That’s it. Four in total.

If you know Trick or Treat Studios collectibles, you’ll know these furry little troublemakers tend to vanish faster than fried chicken at a Gremlin convention.

Of course, there are just three simple rules:

❌ Don’t get them wet
❌ Don’t feed them after midnight
❌ Don’t leave them alone with your bank card while browsing our website

Seriously though, these are stunning display pieces and are becoming increasingly difficult to source. Once they’re gone, we can’t guarantee we’ll get any more.

🎬 CURIOSITY CLASSICS CINEMA REPORT 🎬

A few weeks ago we went to see The Mandalorian & Grogu and came home with one of the awesome limited-edition AT-AT popcorn buckets. Absolutely brilliant bit of movie merch. 👌

Fast forward to the upcoming Supergirl movie and… well…

We’re not entirely sure what happened during the design meeting. 🤔

“Make a collectible cup.”

“Got it.”

“No, wait…”

Too late.

Let’s just say if you order one at the cinema, you may want to carry it discreetly. 😳

We’re all for weird and wonderful collectibles here at Curiosity Classics, but this might be the first piece of movie merchandise that’s guaranteed to make the person at the next seat do a double-take.

We’ll reserve judgement until we’ve seen it in person, but from the promotional photos… we’re struggling to unsee it. 🍆😂

Anyone planning on picking one up when the film launches, or are we all pretending this design never happened?

🚨 Paranormal Activity Detected at Curiosity Classics… 🚨

Our Trick or Treat Studios Slimer prop has apparently become very aware of the building’s history… 👻🧁

After discovering that the legendary Finch Bakery once occupied our shop, the greedy green menace suddenly developed a supernatural craving for school cake, brownies, cupcakes and basically anything loaded with sugar… 🍰💚

Last night he came alive, went wandering through the shop after dark, and decided to conduct his own “taste test” of the confectionery supplies. We can neither confirm nor deny that several sweet treats mysteriously vanished during the night… 👀

Huge apologies to Finch Bakery for the behaviour of this big greedy git. We’re trying to control him, but apparently ectoplasm and buttercream are a dangerous combination. 😅

🚨 TODAY’S WALK-IN IS RIDICULOUS… 🚨Just when the new Star Wars film is out, someone casually walks into Curiosity Classic...

🚨 TODAY’S WALK-IN IS RIDICULOUS… 🚨

Just when the new Star Wars film is out, someone casually walks into Curiosity Classics with this absolutely incredible life-size Sideshow Grogu figure. 😳

And honestly… he’s already causing problems.

Within the first hour he had:
• Judged every customer silently
• Tried to steal snacks using “the Force”
• Refused to blink
• Started attracting Star Wars fans from across the shop
• Shed enough tiny hairs to clog the Millennium Falcon’s hyperdrive

This officially licensed Sideshow “The Child” life-size figure is HUGE, unbelievably detailed, and comes with the display stand.

No box unfortunately… but we suspect Grogu ate it during transport.

Pop in and see him before he fully embraces the Dark Side and takes over the shop. 👀✨

⚔️ BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL… ⚔️

With the new Masters of the Universe film landing this week, we thought it was time to unleash some REAL 1980s power in the shop 😄

We’ve got original vintage Masters of the Universe figures and collectibles in store right now… and honestly, we’re beginning to regret it.

Why?

Because after the shop closes, we’re fairly certain they come alive and start causing absolute havoc.

We’ve had:

⚔️ Suspicious crashing noises from the MOTU shelf
💀 Skeletor somehow moving position overnight
🐯 Battle Cat staring at customers aggressively
🧙‍♂️ Orko disappearing completely and reappearing elsewhere
🏰 Castle Grayskull looking increasingly “active” after 5pm

At this point, buying them might actually be helping us out.

These are proper original 1980s figures too — the real childhood stuff. The toys that survived bedroom floors, garden battles, lost accessories and decades in lofts.

No batteries.
No WiFi.
Just pure nostalgic chaos.

If you grew up with He-Man, Skeletor and friends, pop in and relive your childhood before these lot completely take over the shop.
