Not the usual way to knit a garment.

You should start with the back - then the front - then the sleeves.

But because I’ve got limited fluffy pink yarn I’m kind of seeing how it goes a little bit at a time with all sections all at once. 😬. One or two rows at a time with each section. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hope it works 🤞🏻

Pink yarn left over yarn from another project I’m guessing thank you .

So an update….

The clothes have been cut, which is not easy. As you know clothes are cut to have shape and fit curves … so cutting pieces that are meant to be flat is tricky. You have to think carefully about placement to get the most out of each garment.

And not all garments are practical for making into ‘bags’, so some of this fabric had to be stabilised, which I have done here with a fusible lining. It gives the fabric some strength & stops it fraying at the edges.

Recently a dear friend of mine lost her beloved aunt. (She has given me permission to post this…) She gave me a bag of her clothes and asked if I could make some - I say some - 10 to begin with & ended up being 14 - small bags & a peg bag.

I paired the fabric as you would outfits - so the colours complemented each other. I then decided which fabrics would be best as the main fabric & which would be a good lining fabric.

I think these look great together….

Finished products to follow soon.

I hope my Etsy customer is happy! Wrapped & ready to post this weekend.

Maybe they are to brighten up a disco night outfit ?

Wonder if they are to match a dryrobe for the early morning spring cold water dips - which can still be a little chilly.

Either way they are a fab colour choice?

DM me if you would like to place an order ….
