Tomorrow we’re excited to welcome the wonderful Mr Book Stop back to The Spinning Top for a magical morning of Stories & Songs 📚🎶

Join us on at 9am for a fun-filled session designed for little ones aged 0–6 years, then stay afterwards and enjoy free play in the play cafe 🧸☕️

🦋🐛 In the nursery, the children have been enjoying watching our caterpillars transform into butterflies.

This exciting life cycle experience helps children develop a connection with nature and encourages curiosity about the world around them. By caring for the caterpillars and observing each stage of their journey, the children are learning about patience, responsibility, and respect for living things. Watching the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly has been a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning and discovery 💚

Just a little look at some of our nursery décor… 🌿☀️

Why did we choose these designs?

We absolutely love our woodland wallpaper - With the animals, trees and soft details, it has a lovely storybook feel that sparks imagination while still feeling calm and cosy (especially next to our fish tank 🐠)

Babies enjoy looking at the different shapes and contrast, and as children get older they start noticing all the little details.

Our sunshine pattern was chosen for a similar reason ☀️

We love the simple repeated shapes and warm feel it brings to the room. Familiar, recognisable patterns can feel comforting for babies while adding interest without feeling too busy or overstimulating.

Creating spaces that feel calm, welcoming and full of little moments to discover is something that’s really important to us 💛
