So as you all know , we don’t like to spam people with our posts every two seconds , so a quick update as to what we have been doing in the winter , beside getting wet .
We have been hard at work , getting new stock ready for the new season and the usual , tv, film and theatre .
Here are a few pics of what we have been doing .
Just remember we make suits for ladies and gents . That’s any suit , even if you want modern hand made suit , and yes we did make those lime green zoot suit trousers !!

Same cut suit for the same production of “ Death on the Nile”
The first is a topical wool hop weave over pane and the second is a beautiful cream toffee lightweight wool .
TV , film, theatre , opera and ballet have kept is very busy this year along with our loyal customers and friends .
We are also keeping a big secret under wraps which we will be delighted to share when the time is right .

Well another Twinwood over and it’s taken us a week to recover and get on top of things. What a great event and so lovely to meet up with people who have become friends .
Not just the people who come to see us year after year for a chat but also our fellow traders who surround us and our ten most wonderful cheery people and sum up the Twinwood event

Introducing our new ladies blouse, “The Evelyn” made from an original 1940’s pattern in a Primrose yellow light drape.
All our new stock will be on our site, ready to order in the next few weeks .
We will be trading at Twinwood as usual behind the museum and if you haven’t discovered us yet , why not ? We have been there since 2017 and can make anything bespoke .

As promised, a sneaky preview of some of our ladies new range which we will be launching very soon .

Introducing our new gents seperate CC41 trousers made in a mid brown medium cotton fabric . The trousers are available in size 34"- 40" and available in regular or long . The trousers can be taken in or let out by a maximum of 2" so the 40'" will go to a 42".
We are attending the Dig for Victory show next weekend at the North Somerset show ground . It is a lovely show in beautiful country side ran by the nicest people. If you are looking for an event to attend next weekend let us commend this to you and come view all our ladies and gents range .

Look out on our website in the next few weeks for the JJ Gittes suit which has been added to our mens stock lineup. This is a copy of the suit worn by Jack Nicholson in the film China town set in the mid 1930's. The suit is made from a hopweave overpane check cloth which is a summer suit as light as linen and ready to wear for those hot days .
To make the suit even more affordable we are offering it as two piece , a jacket and waistcoat combination . Who knows at later time you might want to go the full Monty and buy the jacket at later date to complete the ensemble or dive straight in and but the three piece straight away .
As usual the cloth is woven here in the UK and the suit hand tailored in Yorkshire.
We hope you love it as much as we do .
