A 1980s Royal Navy deck smock in ventile cotton, a military piece that has become highly sort after and collectable piece of kit. Referenced by brands such as Stone Island, Nigel Cabourn and many more.
This piece has been in my collection for years.
The lining was removed prior to me owning it as anyone who has owned or tried one on knows the fit of them wasnt great for being worn casually, however because the lining has been removed it gives it a much less bulky fit and more of a casual look.
Favoured by the mods for their waterproof & warmth qualities and more recently adored by the Japanese
All labels missing so unsure of the official size, the pit to pit measures 28” inches.

2016 Stone Island Micro Reps Down parka available on site via the link & or in our studio in Halifax

This piece is made from military specification polyester nylon Rep, The weft yarns, thinner in diameter compared to the warp yarns, enable the fabric to be tightly woven in order to obtain a compact wind resistant tela. The finished piece has been padded with the finest down to achieve optimal thermal insulation. A special agent sprayed on the finished garment makes the piece water repellent.

Reminiscent of a classic US arctic parka, the jacket features a removable real coyote fur hood trim, Premium down filling, 4 large external pockets, a black waterproof polyester finish and of course the iconic removable arm badge.

Classic green croc appliqué logo on left chest, brass embossed zipper pull on a ykk brass zipper.
Woven cuffs and hem. Diagonal open hand pockets and inner zipper pocket. Pique cotton lining.
