T H E N I G H T S S K Y

So I realised I haven't yet made a card for my daughters birthday, but I've made two for my son.
So not wanting to seem like I have a favourite I set about making a card for my daughters 10th birthday on Monday.
I asked her what theme she'd like, her response was Galaxy theme. So after some deep thought, I'd come up with my idea, dug out my daughters water colours and had a go.

We'll as you can see I've decided not to have it as her birthday card now and I've put it in a frame.

This is Ava and I, with our cats, sat on a hill, looking over a lake, watching the nights sky. One of our favourite things to do together.

Not bad for my second attempt embroidery and first being my own design from sketch to fabric.

This is a gift I made for my Grandads 100th birthday, just passed on Monday.

It took me quite a while, I started the whole project again as I wasn't happy with it, plus cut out and redone several parts of this one.

There are still several parts that ni**le me, but we can't be experts over night.

I bought this book for Ava as a Christmas present as it looked like a magical book to get lost in. 📙
She hadn't looked at the book since opening it Christmas day.
But I brought it down from her room to use it for this picture and she hasn't put it down since last night, randomly coming up to me to read out the very interesting facts from it.

Somethings take time!
