Handmade baby feeding armbands available in a selection of beautiful cotton fabrics. The Snuggleband provides comfort and support for baby’s head and your arm when breast or bottle-feeding and prevents the back of their head becoming sweaty against your arm. Three buttons secure the armband, which slips easily onto your arm, and the elastic loops allow it to adjust to different arm si

zes. It can be unfastened and used as a pillow when baby is on their back, or placed under their chest for tummy-time. It also makes a comfortable travel cushion. The armbands are easily portable as they loop around a bag strap or the handle of your buggy. As your little one gets older some people have found the Snuggleband useful as a cushion on a wooden highchair; either to sit on or as a back rest, as well as a head-rest on a buggy handle when your child is standing on their buggy board. To wash, place the unbuttoned Snuggleband inside a pillow case and was on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees. Baby-feeding armband, the Snuggleband, is the ‘best invention ever’ says Stacey Solomon

Stacey Solomon and Mrs Hinch are among hundreds of new mums to recommend the Snuggleband, a cotton baby-feeding armband designed for more comfortable breast and bottle feeding for you and your baby.

Designed and made in Alton, Hampshire by mum-of-two Katherine Shafe, the Snuggleband is a portable alternative to bulky breastfeeding pillows. You simply slip the armband onto your arm for a comfy place to rest your baby’s head during feeding.

The Snuggleband helps alleviate the weight of the baby – especially if they fall asleep after a feed! – and in hot weather it prevents that ‘sticking’ sensation when sweaty head meets sweaty arm. For those with sensitive skin, the breathable 100% cotton fabric is a godsend all year round.

Portable and stylish

Whereas traditional breastfeeding pillows require a huge amount of space that typically limits them to home use, the Snuggleband is small enough to fit into your changing bag and can be easily used out and about. The armband is held together by three elastic loops so it fits any size arm. And as all things baby-related should be, it is machine washable.

One of the most attractive features of the Snuggleband is the range of beautiful fabrics Katherine uses, meaning there will almost always be something that fits in with your nursery theme. The grey stars fabric has been particularly popular since both Stacey Solomon and Mrs Hinch shared pictures of their Snugglebands on Instagram.

Katherine says: “I designed and made a baby feeding armband for my own use when on maternity leave with my first baby, Ruby. I never imagined it would end up being used by celebrities! I wanted something comfortable for both Ruby and I that was easily portable when I was feeding away from home. Other mums soon asked where they could get theirs – and the Snuggleband business was born! I used it for breastfeeding, bottle feeding and was glad to have it for when our second baby, William, was born.

“Snuggleband continues to grow and I love knowing that something I initially made for myself is now being used to help other parents and babies too. I have had messages from mums and dads suffering with conditions such as Carpal tunnel syndrome and eczema, telling me how helpful they’ve found their Snuggleband when feeding their baby. Parents have also found many alternative uses for their Snuggleband, from tummy-time support to high chair cushioning, buggy board head rest for toddler siblings to travel pillow in the car.”
