Arguably, David Constantine White's most recognisable and influential artwork.
The original founder of Briar Hey Pottery, Mytholmroyd, and self-taught potter. He was a great experimenter, certainly in his later years when he could apply his experience and considerable knowledge
In 1993, David began experimenting with spiky lustre pieces using metal compounds over a glazed surface.
He started to generate the spiky platinum pot pieces. This one illustrated is possibly one of the first and largest pieces.
For David, every piece had to be different.
