When you have a bra fitting at Bellus Amor, your fitter isn’t simply looking at a rail and picking out a bra in your size.

Every bra we bring into that fitting room has been chosen for a reason.

While we’re talking to you, we’re assessing your shape, your fit, your support needs, what you’ve told us you like (and definitely don’t like!) and what you need your bra to actually do.

Then the knowledge kicks in. 👙

Our fitters know our collections. They know which styles work better for different shapes, which bras offer particular levels of support and which sizes may need adjusting between different brands and styles.

That’s why you won’t necessarily see every range we stock displayed around the boutique.

We don’t expect you to know which bra you need — that’s our job.

Your fitter carefully selects styles from our collections and brings them to you, making adjustments and trying alternatives until we find the right combination of fit, comfort, support and confidence.

We’re not here to simply sell you a bra.

We’re here to use our experience and knowledge to help you find the right bra for YOU.

Bra fitting experience isn’t essential — personality is. We can teach you the Bellus Amor way, but we can’t teach that natural ability to make someone feel comfortable the moment they walk through the door.

Our boss Amy is currently enjoying a family holiday in Tenerife, and this photo is actually a pretty big deal for her.

Amy has never been someone who feels confident posting photos of herself in swimwear… but this one deserved a place on our page.

Why?

Because this is exactly what properly fitted swimwear can do. 👙✨

Amy is wearing one of our Panache bikinis, fitted in her 32J, and she genuinely cannot believe the difference in the support, comfort and confidence it gives her.

And the best bit? It’s strapless. 🙌

In fact, as you can probably tell from the existing tan lines 😂, this is the FIRST strapless bikini Amy has EVER owned — because until now she simply never believed she could get the support she needed without straps.

After a full day at the water park — walking around, going on rides, getting in and out of the water and generally putting it through its paces — it stayed exactly where it should.

No constantly pulling it up.
No worrying about it slipping.
No feeling unsupported.
Just secure, comfortable swimwear that actually does its job.

A few days ago we shared the amazing news that Bellus Amor had made it to the finals of the Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards 2026…

Well, apparently ONE FINAL JUST WASN’T ENOUGH! 🥹😂

Today we received another email to tell us that Bellus Amor has ALSO been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Retail or Service Sector Business category at the Hartlepool Business Awards 2026! 🏆✨

We’re incredibly proud to be a small independent Hartlepool business, still standing on our high street, still growing, still learning and still giving absolutely everything to the service we created when we opened our doors in 2018.

To be recognised within our own town for the experience and service we provide means such a lot to us.

So apparently the Bellus Amor girls need TWO awards-night outfits now… 👗🥂😂

Known as ‘The Oscars of the Lingerie Industry’ moments like this really do mean the world to our little independent boutique.

Everything we do has always been about more than just selling bras. It’s about creating a place where women feel comfortable, supported, listened to and leave feeling better than when they walked through our doors. ❤️

And none of this would be possible without our incredible team and, of course, YOU — our customers.
