🧸 Behind the Scenes: A Very Special Teddy Bear Restoration! 🧸
Take a look at this …it might look like a scary right now, but this is actually the fragile, tattered remains of a well-loved vintage teddy bear’s head. After years of hugs and history, it’s ready for a full restoration.

I recently received a special inquiry from a local care home. One of their adult residents with learning disabilities needed his beloved teddy bear—a precious gift from his mum—repaired within 24 hours to prevent him from experiencing any unnecessary stress.
He came by with his carers to personally hand his bear over to me. I got straight to work: dismantling, washing, installing new hinged joints for the arms, replacing his eyes, and giving him a good brush.
I was able to deliver Teddy back to him the very next day. Seeing his big smiles and getting hugs before he tucked Teddy into bed for a sleep made this restoration feel incredibly special.

This giant floor turtle has arrived in the workshop . Made in the mid 70’s it has been ridden , jumped on and well loved . My client has asked me to make one just like his childhood one . The fabric has arrived and I am ready to cut a new pattern Teddy Bear Lady Sisterscreateuk
