Late Summer Transition
A glimpse of what’s next up on my sewing table for making tops and bloomers. This little collection will be ready late summer - a palette that transitions to Autumn and compliments the AW curation I bought in January.

🌿Japanese seersucker cotton in the lushest green
My sewing rhythms went horribly wobbly the last few years as I navigated Dementia with my mum, then her life threatening pneumonia last September (two days after the shop break in). She’s now much better but having been in bed for so long our next journey is that of gaining strength, stamina and learning to walk - we are getting there slowly with the support the best physio ever and the support and encouragement of the wonderful team at her care home. Our goal is to get back to the FILO for our weekly supper treat! This long rambly story is to say please bear with me, I sew in the gaps between running the shop, managing my mum’s affairs, visiting my mum, maintaining my allotment and rather badly keeping my home clean - the dust bunnies get way too may reprieves to continue partying!!
