After 7 years, the time has come for me to say farewell to Handmade by Dani.

I have had such fun creating fabulous clothes and meeting such wonderful people, however now it is time for me to move on.

It feels at though Easter was only yesterday! Yet Half term is upon us.

As I will have my three at home with me this week it may take me a little longer to reply to messages and emails.

Over the years mussies have been a very important part of our daily lives.

With 3 children knowing who's mussie is who's has also been important! Finding differently patterned mussies has been a mission!

Did you know that I studied textiles at university?

After having children, sewing clothes for them seemed like a natural progression.

When my oldest was four I started Handmade by Dani. It wasn't long after that I started to design my own fabrics to make bright beautiful eye catching designs kids love.

Seven years later and I am still sewing kids clothes and also running a fabrics business selling my designs by the metre.

I am so lucky I am able to still be using my degree doing something I love so much.

I watched a video the other day of a Mum comparing not only the size but also the cost of 'girls' clothes apposed to boys clothes.

It's quite shocking not only are 'girls' clothes shorter, smaller and less practical but are also often more expensive!

Here at Handmade by Dani I don't change the design of the clothes based on gender, you can even have your child's clothes made to measure based on their preferences and size.

At Handmade by Dani you can be guaranteed I don't design by the perceived differences between 'girls' clothes and 'boys' clothes.
