Golden mid century treasures from Sweden and Germany as part of today.

1. Vintage Gabriel Keramik Sweden Stoneware Teapot Model 1036 - Mustard Yellow Ribbed 1960s/1970s. Lid doesn't sit completely flush on pot but in good condition, light manufacturing flaws. Hard to find design!  
£38 / $51 usd + postage / taxes if applicable.

2. Vintage Swedish birch bark trinket box. Originally made to store dry goods, salt or to***co in the 18th/19th century. In good condition considering the age.

3. Early to Mid Century Sámi Duodji Salt Cellar and Carved Spoon. Most likely made from birchwood. Lid doesn't close completely when spoon is inside. It's in fine working order.  A beautiful piece of indigenous history. NOT FOR SALE ATM. IN MY PRIVATE COLLECTION.

4. Mid Century German Wild Wax Folk Heart Art Hanging. Gorgeous colour, made from hard wax. In good condition with light wear. Please see photos.

The things I do for my f.i.v. positive 10 year old foster kitty Tomkins. Sitting in the bushes for ages 😆

He can't roam freely as he could infect other cats or get sicker himself so we walk him on a harness so he still gets to enjoy the outdoors.

I am sharing this fun and kitsch snail teapot made in the 70s from Japan with you today as part of . Perfect for a summer garden tea party or a gift for a gardener. Mr snail is a bit of a show stopper!

His paint is worn away in a few places so the price is a bit lower at £35 plus postage, but he is still a real beauty.

'Tiny Castle' Vintage German Springerle / Historical Wax Baking Biscuit Mould / Butter Mould / Anisbrötli Wax Art. From the 1900s. Dark brown with light brown tint in design. Made from hard wax. In good vintage condition with light wear. Has some light scratches and uneven wax in places. Looks slightly different colour in sunlight as vs inside. See photos.

These kinds of moulds were originally made of wood which was carved by hand but it got so expensive to make them that by the 1800's they started to make them out of hard wax to reduce the price. These moulds were beautifully made with intricate patterns and designs to be used to decorate traditional biscuits, springerle, butter and ginger bread. If you look closer, you can see the meticulous detail that has gone into this one. The wax almost looks like wood grain! As these are so old, they are not recommended to use with food but I do have a few customers who have made springerle cookies and clay art. This one is ready to be hung on the wall.

As delicate, it will be packed very well with extra protection and padding to make sure it arrives safely to its new home.

Most of my items are vintage pieces with some historical wear and not in mint condition unless noted. Also, the colour might be slightly different in the photos from real life, but I do my best to capture the colour as best as I can.
