Two storms in one weekend?! 🌧️ Storm Austen and Storm Boelo are certainly giving us a good reason to get wrapped up!

Such a beautiful feeling waking up to orders that have come through online through the night!
Honestly the best way to wake up happy as a wee entrepreneur lady!
So this is me, packing 2 orders that are going down to England this morning before work, before the kids go off to school, before ive had my 2nd coffee of the morning

Happy Thursday! We’re officially past Hump Day and the weekend is getting closer! 🙌

I found out on the weekend that Shimena - Fashion Accessories & Clothing Scottish Borders is a FINALIST in the Female Founder Awards 2027, South of Scotland category!

For the second year in a row! How exciting is that? ❤️

I'm absolutely chuffed to be a finalist again, and so grateful to everyone who continues to support me with Shimena, whether that's ordering scarves or leggings online, visiting my stall, recommending me to friends or cheering me on from the sidelines.

It really does mean a lot!

🍂 Blue skies, autumn sunshine and a definite nip in the air! 🍂

What a beautiful weekend we've had! But autumn has definitely decided it's time to remind us who's in charge. 😂

I woke up to -2°C this morning and, for the first time this season, had frost on the car! 🥶 Think we're officially at the point where a cosy scarf isn't just an accessory, it's a necessity!

So this Robin pashmina felt like the perfect choice for today's walk. The gorgeous autumnal orange, the robins and that contrasting tartan side... it's giving all the autumn feels, isn't it?

And I love a scarf that works with the season without having to completely change your wardrobe. Throw it over your favourite jumper, wrap up for a crisp morning walk, or pop it round your shoulders when the temperature drops.

Early start this morning leaving before the sunrise, to get up to Newhailes House & Gardens NTS before the market day starts at 9am, but it will all be worth it.
Weathers looking beautiful this morning... if a wee bit frosty.. nothing a good cosy cashmere mix scarf won't fix though! 😆
