doesn't get soaking in hard rain or hard sweating, when it does get a bit wet it dries easily just leaving it out for a few minutes. If you pair it with a nice quarter zip mid layer you will be very warm. The mesh feeling on your skin takes some getting used to, but it's not uncomfortable

I have used/worn brynje for 30+ years in winter either singly or layered. I was a long distance runner for years, marathons, 10K, 10 mile, etc. Have also taken on safari for early morning safari's in Africa. Wonderful, light comfortable warmth. I have tried most of what's out there and nothing else compares. I have reccommended to friends for years. Even thought of trying to get a franchise in the U.S. back when I was running a lot.

The bag is well made and you can get the canoe and all its parts in it, it is huge and bulky. I bought a cheap pole bag from ebay to hold the long parts and this made the bag much more manageable to carry on my back with the other bag in hand. Although bulky it will protect the boat etc whilst in transit and is worth buying for this reason. I will be using it to carry canoe to and from van. Will then erect it and transport to water on canoe trolley - much easier!

The POLARTEC® Thermal Pro® Hi Loft grid fleece truly is incredibly warm for its weight and bulk - feels like wearing down in the way it seems to heat you up rather than just retaining heat! Good service from Nordiclife and cosmic colour way was hard to find elsewhere which may explain the considerably high full retail price 🤔

Really tough to put up first time, second time mutch easier and quicker, solid when up and paddles like a rigid canoe, seats comfortable when kneeling but don't give as much flexibility for movement as a traditional canoe seat.
