Vintage on the Coast VoC creates glorious lavender filled hearts and drawer pillows using vintage and coastal inspired fabrics.

As they come along, there will also be vintage accessories to compliment the handmade.

Just back from a whistle stop trip to Manchester for vintage fabric fair. Now, quilts were certainly not on my list, but quilts were what the universe delivered, so who am I to argue?🫣🤷‍♀️😂
Lovely to catch up with Jo .nesta.1968, and good to see Tic, and to meet - thank you for some beautiful pieces 🥰
Now, I have to mention where we stayed last night - as it was absolutely stunning! is a building just full of so much history, it’s breathtaking - and very pet friendly, our Kiki-Dee was treated like the diva she is!!!🙄🤣 I have no affiliation with this hotel, we paid for our stay, but it was so beautiful & everyone so friendly, it deserves a mention!
Keep your eyes out for future makes from my gains today! They may well appear at our next event which is next Sunday 21st 9-3.

With just 2 days to go, we’re busy sorting things for the Brocante in the Park! Just to let everyone know, whilst signal is poor, so cash is a good idea, we do have a Starlink so won’t have a problem processing cars payments 😊 in the meantime, if you’re not able to get along, I have been updating the website which has been somewhat neglected of late! One of the more unusual finds at Malvern on Sunday 🤎 Far from my ‘normal’ choice of purchase, I was completely drawn in by this early example of decoupage by French artist Mon Clady, signed and dated 1918. Using whatever was to hand, usually pine panels, he would take photographs, paste them to it, then paint scenes around them. As most of his work was done around WW1, materials were very limited, hence the need to use whatever could be found that was suitable. And this is why we love what we do 🙂

A huge thanks to everyone at the team for a great weekend in Cirencester! It was so hot, but still people came, chatted & purchased, and we’re truly grateful ☺️ What was really nice was putting more facea to names - if I’ve missed you, sorry, I’m blaming the heat!🫣 And of course not forgetting great catchups with .catlin.designs and our very obliging neighbours and . After a very warm pack down we headed over to Malvern last night & hit the flea at 7.30, coming away with some lovely treasures ready for our next fair, which luckily is a local one! on 7th June, near Holt - and I’m hoping it’s not as windy as it was last year!
Right, that’s enough waffle, I’m off to poor a nice cold glass of rose! 🍷
