I will not be doing any further alterations and makes for the foreseeable.
I need to concentrate on grieving, clearing Mums house and dealing with the solicitors and estate agent. I’ve realised I’m not super human.

Bedsheet dress got its collar today, this was not easy, the pattern instructions were not helpful, so I had to grab one of Neils shirts to remind me what it’s supposed to look like. The collar is in two parts, the flappy bit and the collar stand underneath. Skill unlocked 🏆

I shouldn’t be mentioning the C word so early on in the year.
But I’ve been asked to make some jumbo Christmas sacks and I’ve practised a stitch out on the fleece fabric I will be using. It takes 2 and a half hours to stitch out the design and no less that 59 thread changes.
I’m sure you’ll agree it’s worth it.
