*****UPDATE: ALL COURSES NOW FULLY BOOKED!*****
It’s hard to believe I’m saying this, but this year is my FINAL year of running workshops! It’s time to hang up my fleece and spend time with my family, particularly my gorgeous grandchildren. My July course is already fully booked, but I have 3 places left on the 3 day August workshop (5th -
7th). Places are £300 per person inclusive of materials and lunch.

We will dye fleece using plants from my garden, weave on peg looms and the amazing Brinkley loom, and there’s an option to have a go at 3D felting too.

I’m currently weaving a throw having spun loads of fleece from Gretchen the Sheep, although looking at the colour, it could just as easily be from Badger the Dog!

I’m also knitting a pullover for Perrin (soon to be 12) from the same fleece. Spring is on its way and I hope you’re feeling the same creative urges!

If you’d like to learn to dye fleece with plants and weave on a Brinkley loom (as I’m doing here), I have two 3 day courses coming up this summer.

They will run on:

22nd - 24th July 2023
5th - 7th August 2023

These 3 day workshops include collecting dye plants from my garden, creating gorgeous coloured fleece with them, Pegloom and Brinkley Loom weaving and 3D felting, along with a delicious lunch and often inspiring company on the banks of the stunning River Wye each day.

Here are some examples of the kind of work you, or your gift recipient, can make using plant dyed wool on a Brinkley Loom - so next year could also be full of gorgeous scarves and blankets to boot!

Dyer’s Madder, the root of Rubia Tinctorum, has been used for thousands of years to create stunning red tones in fabric and fleece. This is just one of the plant dyes you will use if you attend one of my workshops!

The next 3 day workshop runs between 27th and 29th August and is the last one of 2022! And .....

WE STILL HAVE SOME PLACES AVAILABLE!!!!!

During the course you will also learn to weave on both a Pegloom and the amazing Brinkley Loom, as well as an opportunity to learn 3D felting for those who want to.

Places are £300 per person, including lunch and materials.

Have you ever fancied learning to dye fleece using the power of plants? Or perhaps you have always wanted to learn to weave but thought it might be too complicated? On my workshops, I teach plant dyeing, peg loom AND Brinkley loom weaving over 3 days (with some 3D felting thrown in for good measure). Whether you've tried it before, or have no experience at all, you will go away up-skilled and inspired.

I currently have places available on my course running 27th-29th August in Byford, Herefordshire.

Courses are £300 per person for 3 days packed full of glorious plants, colour, texture, chat and of course cake, all overlooking the beautiful River Wye.
