Copper Threads Embroidered items made by me

19/05/2026

The ability to create something that will make someone smile will always be one of the things I love the most about owning Copper Threads.

There was no way I was letting Dorothy not get the fluffy chicken picture she wanted.

Her and her Husband Tony were the nicest couple so to be able to make this just for them was such a pleasure.

As exhausting as markets are, they are also a huge amount of fun and very rewarding.

Nothing quite beats getting out, meeting fellow animal lovers and chatting non stop about dogs, cats, highland cows and chickens! 😻🐾🐶🐮🐓

It really has been a busy few months but it’s also given me the opportunity to raise money for , a charity that will always be very close to my heart.

I’m taking a break from markets for a few weeks but will be back in July with my family. I’m already excited for it!

In the meantime, don’t forget Copper Threads items are currently stocked in and I hope you can stop by both of the wonderful local businesses to take a look at what’s available.

Thank you to everyone for being such a great support and I can’t wait to chat more in July 😻🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who made a donation to Isabel Hospice at the recent Makers & Bakers Farmers & Craft Markets Flower Moon and Beam Markets.

Your generous contributions, alongside the sale of handmade cat beds and a special donation from our friends at Memory ScentsX mean that together, we have raised an outstanding £2,240.62 for the hospice.

A huge thank you also the wonderful Karen from Makers and Bakers for giving us the opportunity to support Isabel Hospice. Instead of charging a Market entry fee, Makers and Bakers invite visitors to make a donation to a chosen charity and we were delighted for Isabel to be chosen. It’s been a wonderful way to help a charity working so incredibly hard to support so many in our community.

Thank you again for your contributions and for helping us make a difference. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Some super exciting news! I've joined in their gorgeous shop in Stevenage 🐾

This lovely little corner in the old town stocks the most beautifully unique items made by local creators. I'm so proud to be joining Lianne and I hope you are able to pop in and take a closer look at what Copoer Threads has to offer 🐾🐾

I’ve embroidered some little hoodies for your four legged best friends🐾🐶 How cute are they!

The fabric of these is lovely and soft and there is reinforced harness slit and adjustable back leg straps to help them fit different breeds.

I will have them with me at my next craft fair on 3 May so, if you want to take a closer look and are local to Hertford, come and say hi. I will be at BEAM from 10am to 3pm 🐾

Put my embroidery machine back together with me!

There is quite a lot involved when it comes to looking after an embroidery machine. This is a little snippet of some of the pieces I have to put back together after a deep clean.

Now she is all fresh and clean ready for my next make which is the fluffy highland cow blanket! 🐮 You can shop this over on Etsy 🥰🐾
