I have previously thought that su***de was the answer, so much so that I’ve attempted to take my own life multiple times …
But thankfully, I was prevented from doing so, and finally accepted that I needed help and more importantly I needed to accept that help.
And I did. I grabbed every opportunity of support like my life depended on it, because it really did.
Through my recovery journey, I found my passion and my purpose in helping others.
And so my ventures began to bloom. My passion for helping others has a few forms at the moment.
Here are some of those forms (some maybe more well known or obvious than others):
🧑🧑🧒🧒 - First and foremost, I am a family man, with an amazing wife and 3 beautiful children.
🖇️- I have a full time job. In my 9️⃣-5️⃣, I work in an alternative provision school as a life coach. Providing support to some of the next generation, who for whatever reason aren’t able to attend a main stream school.
🧠 - Around my commitments during school hours and term time, I provide personal development and wellbeing support to those battling their own demons like I once did. My services in this range from individual 1:1 sessions through to keynote motivational speaking events. 🗣️
👕 - I run a mental health inspired clothing brand aimed to spread hope and awareness through clothing, donating to charities and helping them to continue helping others.
🥊 - I have previously volunteered for various organisations and junior sports clubs. This is something that I really enjoy but have had to reduce in recent times but I would love to get back in to as soon as possible.
