So the other day I discovered my new favourite place to buy fabric.

This is a company called Lady Sew and Sew. It has a shop in Marlow and also a Warehouse in Henley-on-Thames.

I visited their Warehouse in Henley and it was like heaven. They had sooo much amazing fabric and literally I could of bought so much but I was good and just bought 3 metres on my favourite one which was a vintage simplicity patterned one.

I still cannot believe how incredible this place was from the prettiest fabrics to the fantastic friendly staff. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone and I am counting the seconds until I can go back,

SLEEVELESS SOPHISTICATION!
This top was made using my own self drafted pattern which I used a book called Pattern Cutting for Lingerie, Beachwear and Leisurewear, 2nd Edition by Ann Haggar for references.

This top was made using a striped linen for the main outside and Peter Rabbit print cotton for the inside.

This garment was made in a waistcoat style with 3 buttons and button holes.

I absolutely love how this turned out and I love how it looks sophisticated but you could easily wear it on a causal outing!

MEDIEVAL MENAGERIE!
This top was made using my own self drafted pattern which I used a book called Pattern Cutting for Lingerie, Beachwear and Leisurewear, 2nd Edition by Ann Haggar for references.

This top was made using black faux leather and a black cotton for the lining.

This garment has princess seams at the from which have been top stitch and two back darts. It using black ribbon loops and lacing to fasten it.

When making this top, I took inspiration from the style of grunge. This has got to be one of my favourite things I have ever made!

FLOWER POWER!
This playsuit was made using my own self drafted pattern which I used a book called Pattern Cutting for Lingerie, Beachwear and Leisurewear, 2nd Edition by Ann Haggar for references.

This playsuit was made using a floral cotton fabric and a maroon spotty cotton, both of which were purchased from a shop called Fabricland.

This outfit is the length of shorts and features a centre front metal zip for the fastening and has a contrast collar ane sleeve bands.

This outfit was so much fun to make and just as much fun to wear!

FLORAL FUN!
This jacket was made using my own self drafted pattern which I used a book called Pattern Cutting for Lingerie, Beachwear and Leisurewear, 2nd Edition by Ann Haggar for references.

This jacket was made from a floral patterned velvet and a plain green velvet.

This garment is of a long length and features a contrast collar. It also features two welt pockets with contrast flaps.

Wearing this jacket made me feel so fancy and elegant and I absolutely love it!
