CREATIVE COLLECTION - Sketchbook
Recently I have been donated a huge stack of upholstery leather and purchased a job lot of vintage leathers too.
I have been wondering what to do with this leather, until I helped make my son a note book holder.
This sparked the idea of making a ‘Creative’ collection. Re useable sketchbook/ journal covers from leather that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Here is an example of the sort of products I will be making. This is a A5 sketch book cover (including sketchbook but not pens) made from some vintage brown leather with autumn orange shades leather pen holders made from Upholstery samples.
As a creative I use different types of pens and pencils for sketching. So I have varied the size of the holders for this reason.
Although I don’t like writing because I’m dyslexic I’m also planning on making some writing journals.
