Would you like to learn how to weave in a loom like this??….These fantastic Ashford Brooklyn looms are the latest edition to the studio. As of next term I will begin a new class for a small group of weavers. This loom is great if…
*you have previously learnt to weave on a Rigid heddle loom and would like to progress to making more complex structures and pattern’s.
*you are a confident beginner weaver looking for a challenge!
*you want to weave fabrics suitable for clothing with finer yarns - as this loom allows for more warp ends to be threaded up in the width than the standard Rigid heddle loom does
The classes will be added to my website on Monday evening with all the details - if you have any questions, or would like to visit the studio for a chat or just to see the looms and decide which class will work best for you I will be here Monday evenings 6-8pm and you can also drop in on a Thursday morning 10.30am - 12.30pm. (During term time - so please message ahead if you are coming over the Easter break). Very excited to get started with a great new course on these multi-shaft weaving looms.
