I took lockdown as an opportunity to explore the wonderful world of Instagram, and created my page ✨ Slow Frills ✨

This is a space where I can share my sewing experiments and promote sustainable fashion at a time when fast fashion is damaging our planet 🌏

I use Instagram stories and create videos to show the process of creating and upcycling clothing sustainably, in hope to inspire others to do the same 💚

Hello friends, it's been a while!

The world feels like a slightly different place to what it was last time I spoke to you, doesn't it? I hope you're all okay 🥰

It's been business as usual at Sew Handy over the last couple of years, with a few interruptions but some exciting projects and opportunities too. I've been busy making clothes, curtains and costumes, as well as altering and repairing garments for the people of Horwich and surrounding towns 🧵

Apologies for the radio silence on this page recently, but I'M BACK and I'm excited to share my passion for sewing with you again, so thank you for sticking around ❤️
