As we start to look towards the Spring/Summer 27 season, we would like to highlight this bold check recently developed in one of our 20 full-width looms. Comprised of equal parts wool & linen, this is a versatile cloth designed with transitional suiting in mind.

At Savile Clifford we are always pleased to share our rich heritage with our customers.
We recently received these wonderful images from the family of a former member of staff, showing Glendale Mills as it was in the 1930s/40s.
The comparison between now and then is eye-opening, displaying the modernisation of textiles production, while also staying true to our hand-crafted origins.

A behind the scenes look at some of our development warps for our Autumn/Winter 26 collection.

Our pattern warper and weavers meticulously warp and sley each end of the warp in order to create diverse woven ranges, which our designers and customers are then able to browse and select from.

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting the next generation of textile manufacturing experts, with 2 Textile Operations Apprenticeships.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bower Roebuck, Savile Clifford and Fernmoor, learning to supply our global customer base with our wide range of luxury fabrics.

Apprentices will rotate across departments and gain exposure to every stage of the production process. During this hands-on role, apprentices will also gain a Level 2 qualification in Textile Manufacturing, with structured support and industry-leading training from the Textiles Centre of Excellence.
