On IWD, I thought it would be a good idea to shout out all the incredible female tailors I know, work for, work with, chat to, have never actually met but support.
My old Dege colleagues who are only a call away if I need help 💛

I miss working away from Savile Row, as this wonderful network of women was closer. You are all fabulous ✨️

Today, I attended wedding fair. It was great to meet some lovely couples, and some amazing wedding suppliers!

If you are getting married, The Arches is definitely a venue to check out. It's so beautiful!

Beautiful bespoke tailoring. The beginning of the process is always a fitting, in the form of a plain baste or pocket baste. Temporarily stitched together so that it can be fitted, ripped down, remarked, and set back to the tailor to further the process. Between 8 - 10 hours, go into the fitting alone. ❤️

In September 2023, I made the great decision to move out of my attic workshop and into and it has definitely been a good decision!

The reasons for moving out of my home office...

• I would love to train somebody, and didn't want somebody walking around my home (we are not tidy enough 😅)
• Work life balance! No more working until silly o'clock. I have been so much more productive away from the house.
• Since leaving London, I have always wanted to bring beautiful tailoring to the North.
• Having a dedicated space for bespoke and made to measure suits. 😁 I now have that space!! Come see me!

You can't beat a peaked lapel...especially when they are this big!! I can not tell you how much hand stitching is in this job, and how long it has taken!

Not the world's most exciting photographs, but I finally have an office out of the house 🥳
I have made a start in moving stuff in, and I can't wait to start giving it some character...when I figure out exactly what I want to put in it.
