We Brits all love a bit of sun but repeatedly smashing heatwave records isn’t normal. 🥵 There’s lots of small, low effort changes we can all make to help prevent the climate changing even further. Research from suggests if all UK adults bought half of their next wardrobe second-hand instead of new, it could prevent an estimated 12.5 billion kilogrammes of carbon dioxide emissions entering the atmosphere, which is the equivalent to a plane flying around the world more than 17,000 times.
We know our customers already love a bit of second hand sourcing, but now is the time to get those non-thrifting friends & family on board. Let’s encourage more people to choose second hand first: organise charity shop days, support your local vintage stores, invite your friends to Vinted…and of course you can always pop into our events when we swing by. 💪🌍
