What a day in Angola! 🇦🇴🌍

Visiting Mama Afrika Palace was more than a visit, it was an African cultural experience.

Imagine three floors of a home filled with African collections from different countries, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Then add beautiful African food, music, dancers and a warm welcome. ❤️

Meeting Mama Amina and hearing the stories behind this incredible collection made it even more meaningful.

This is the Africa I love to celebrate through All Things African —
our culture, creativity, heritage and people.

When Africa celebrates you, you feel it differently. ❤️🌍
I came to Angola 🇦🇴 for love, culture and the beautiful wedding of King Alfa Kuabo Mabula and Queen Nzinga.
I left with one more unforgettable memory — a birthday surprise I never saw coming. 🎂👑
A cake carrying my name, my photograph, my birthday and Africa.
Then the dancers came. The music played. The cake was cut. And for a moment, there was nothing else but joy, togetherness and Ubuntu.
This is one of the things I love about Africa — we know how to make people feel seen.
Thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday and sent love from different corners of the world. ❤️
And to those who made this Angola birthday surprise possible — you touched my heart.
