Here it is! My version of fantasic

Now, full disclosure, this wasn't exactly the finish article that I wanted. But that doesn't mean I don't love it, in fact I've hardly had it off since I finished it on Friday night.

I was wanting more of a big floaty full cover cardigan, but when I started this over 10 months ago there was no pattern so I just went for it. It ended up more of a fitted jacket style but I've still got big floaty sleeves. So even after some slight initial disappointment that it didn't turn out the way I wanted, I'm still absolutely over the moon!

I'm pretty proud of myself and I really don't say that often! What have you been proud of lately?

P.s. I know these aren't the best pictures but I told myself I'd post it on the grid today and this was the best I could come up with 😂

I've had this idea in my head a while now, a spring wreath featuring a great tit, nest complete with eggs, some pink blossom flowers and few larger almost daffodils type flowers. Can you tell I'm not a gardener? 😂

Finally got everything made up and now I've got creative block! What's that phase? All the gear no idea... Well that's how I'm feeling right now!

I think it's because, for some reason, I don't feel like it's officially spring yet. Even though there's blossom on the trees and everything is becoming green again Anyone else got that same feeling?

The autumn leaf garland, part of my autumn collection.

Autumn prep is in full swing now, from leaves to acorns to pumpkins and garlands to wreaths. I'm also planning on launching a few more autumn items later on in the month, so keep an eye out for some new additions.

Joining has begun!

Even though I've still got plenty more squares to make, I've been trying to keep on top of joining them together. Ive also been weaving in the ends as I go or they wouldn't get done 😂

Hopefully it will won't be long till I can reveal what I'm actually making. It won't be the full finished piece, because that could be weeks away (maybe months but I really hope not). But once it starts to half resemble it's finished form, you will be the first to know.

So far I've made 91 of these beauties for my project, I'm probably going to need another 40 of them to get it finished. But I may need more considering I first thought I would need around 70.

I didn't plan it out the best to start with, kind of winging it if I'm honest. But I've never attempted anything like this before without following someone else's pattern so it was never going to be perfect, and I'm ok with that!
