Ok folks, story time!
Last week, Bob had a little oops on his bike!
It had just rained (was raining) and Bob was slowing for a junction doing less than 40 and before he knew it his back wheel was overtaking him and he was sent on a wee slip and slide down the tar! Bob was all good, no damage to him, a little damage to the bike (see rear peg deciding it wants to move forward!) but had he not been wearing his protective clothing it would have been a very different story! MotoGirl MotoBull cargos held up very well! The pocket was unstitched but can be repaired and best of all even though the pocket disconnected there’s still a fully protective layer underneath! Alpinestars jacket unscathed and my Forma boots took a good scuff but all good! fivegloves protected my digits well too!
It can happen to any of us, can’t stress the importance of decent gear when on the bike, even on short runs!! Stay safe guys!
