Let me share with you the reasons behind my rebrand…

This part of my branding is all about freedom.

Freedom to be a creative with no restrictions.
For over 16 years, I had a career in the creative industry working on many product areas mainly in the fashion and textiles sector. This is where I gained a huge amount of experience and was able to work alongside some of the most talented creatives on this planet!

Being a creative in a corporate world can be very restricting, and your creative boundaries can be tested and sometimes disregarded, as it may not always meet the desired outcome or vision someone else has, or anticipates will sell in a commercial world.
You hit wall after wall trying to push boundaries and make things happen and more restrictions can pull you back.
I got to a point in my career where people were dictating how I should be as a person, and how far I should push my style and creativity. I felt restricted and sometimes unable to express my views as it may not meet the norm!
Being creative is all I have ever known and all I know I am my best at. I have creative ideas that buzz around my head daily and needed some kind of outlet to help bring these things to life.
As well as being a designer I have always created products and sewing was always an outlet to feeling free, and expressing my ideas from paper into real products.

I have always loved hair accessories, and first started creating products when my daughter was born 9 years ago. At first it was a side hustle, an outlet to express my creative ideas. Today I do this full time and finally have the freedom to be my creative self, and create products I believe in.

Here’s to creative freedom and I am so thankful I get to do this every day!

Rebranding has been a decision I made quite some time ago and one I wanted to make sure I got right.

A strong identity, a name that had meaning, one which sat perfectly aligned to my target audience and a vision of where I intend to move forward was so vital.

Labella also simply means beautiful, being beautiful, feeling beautiful and creating all things beautiful.

R E B R A N D I N G . . .

Happy new year everyone and I hope you are all doing well ♥️

So the last 12 months has been a huge turning point for my business and one I’m so thankful for. I have gained a loyal customer base and receive such lovely messages daily of how my products are loved by their receivers.

I have gained knowledge who my customers are and where I aspire my brand moving forward from now and into the future.

My current name is changing and so is our look and feel too…

I have been working so hard in the background to bring this to the forefront and start the new year as I mean to go on…

Here is a sneak peek of how things are shaping, I can’t wait to reveal all to you including my new brand name too!

You wouldn’t believe the planning it’s taken to create this little collection…

I always want my fabrics to sit together and compliment each other which can sometimes be a challenge when you are working with deadstock, unused clothing and fabric off cuts. Some fabrics I have are literally minimal amounts so I really have to plan how I utilise it to its best!

This collection has been created for my next drop going into which the brief this time was for “kids” but guess what I’ve managed to create a few extras for you my lovely followers too.

I’m working hard to get all these uploaded on Etsy for launch tomorrow night at 6pm
