I love my hobbies and I bounce between them....bagpipes, photography and kilt making. I’m always encouraging my children to work hard at their hobbies as you never know what doors they may open through the years -travelling, making friends of all ages and just the life experiences that the hobbies can lead to. Well, today was a great life experience for me at the Kilt Keith School and Textile Centre. We had the pleasure of a Royal visit. The Earl and Countess of Forfar - Prince Edward and Sophie.

Like father, like son.

I've made both these kilts as a part of my kilt making course. The wee mans kilt has a hem and plenty of room to be let out as he grows. Think he might be the smartest dressed kid at the next toddler Christmas party.

Went to such an amazing wedding this weekend. So many special moments – great food, wine, old friends, new friends, South African Zulu dancers, Polish dancers, Jewish Shabbat, cèilidh , bagpipes, bagpipes and more bagpipes, fireworks! But for me a special highlight was seeing my little wee man wearing the kilt I made.
