Hi everyone, hope you have had a good week. 😁

For me, this week has been an emotional struggle as I have had to make the difficult decision about the future of my shop. This follows on from my husband Alans' recent illness followed by his Stroke, and my own health issues. In view of all this, I have decided to retire and spend more time at home relaxing.

I have been in business since 2011 when I set up my shop in Caithness where we lived for 15 years, then for the last 2 years in Kelso which I have thoroughly enjoyed. It has always been a great pleasure meeting new and old customers and helping them to choose their outfits and accessories for their Special Occasion. There have been many laughs and tears of joy on the journey, as well as many new friendships made. I will definately miss all of this when I close. You have all been so kind and welcoming. ❤

My Retirement Sale will start at 10a.m. on Wednesday 17 June, so I hope you will pop in and grab bargain.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Mixed bag of weather this past week. Don't know whether to wear summery tops or raincoats. 🌞☔️. Hopefully all will improve for the weekend.

Please note Alan (my husband,) has another appointment at hospital on Wednesday 10 June. This means the shop will close at 2p.m.
I will be open on Thursday as usual at 10a.m.

Hi everyone, hope you are well, and been enjoying the lovely sunny weather while it was here. 🌞
Thank you once again for all the enquiries and good wishes for my husband Alan after his Stroke. He is making good but slow progress.

A wee heads up that the shop will be CLOSED on Friday 5 June as I am taking Alan back to the hospital for tests. Open as usual on Saturday 6 June at 10a.m.

Just a reminder that all my Prom/ball dresses have 50% off at the moment, so anyone needing a dress for the festivals etc, now is the time to buy.

Hi everyone,

Good news! Alan is getting home from hospital.😀
This means I will not be opening the shop on Wednesday and Thursday this week as I want to be at home with him to make sure he can manage. If so, I will open on Friday and Saturday as our daughter will keep an eye on him when I'm not there.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

Once again I would like to thank everyone for all your good wishes for my husband Alan and wishing him a speedy recovery. He is still in the stroke ward at the Borders General Hospital, and hopefully he will come home soon. Thank you all. 🥰🥰

This week has been very busy at the shop, as you will know the Festivals/Common Ridings etc are fast approaching (in some cases already up and running). Then there is the fabulous Ladies Day at Kelso Racecourse this weekend. Lots of shoes, bags and fascinators flying out the door, as well as summery dresses. Fingers crossed for a lovely warm day for you all. 🤞

Decided to give you a mix of things this week, a bit all over the place, like my head at the moment. 🤣

Hi everyone I hope you are all well. 😁

A huge thank you to all you lovely people who took the time to pop to the shop, and sent messages enquiring how my husband Alan was. It is very much appreciated by us both.

Unfortunately he is back at the BGH after a fall through the greenhouse today. Thankfully he was very lucky and got away with just a couple of cuts. Now we have to continue the tests to find out what is causing these issues and hopefully find a solution.

Depending on how Alan gets on will clarify if I am able to get to the shop this week. I hope you understand the situation, as I have to prioritise his safety. Fingers crossed all goes well. 🤞🤞

I will keep you all posted. Thank you again for all your good wishes at this difficult time.

Hi everyone,
Apologies for the shop being closed, this was due to my husband being ill.

I will open the shop tomorrow (Wednesday 6th) at 10a.m. till 4p.m. Thursday the same.
Unfortunately I will be closing on Friday at 2.45p.m. as I am taking my husband back to hospital for a scan.

Hi folks, hope all is well with you this week. 🥰.
Just to let you know the shop will be closed Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th April. Unfortunately my husband was rushed to hospital, but thankfully home now, but needs some TLC for a couple of days. I hope to be back on Friday but if anything changes I will let you know.
